Russia's Response To Trump Is A Masterclass in Ukraine Ceasefire
I have seen inside Ukraine video images and it look very sad. No democracy, only fear and corruption. Young man are being kidnapped to the front lines and there are wire fences everywhere. Its very sad. And yet the media is NOT addressing this, only the FORCES. How bout we all start covering the "people of Ukraine" that can't talk, are fearful of talking. Even people outside the country are still fearful of talking about what is going on in Ukraine.
Matt Mullenweg Owns 40% of the Internet
By October 2009, the project, going by the name of WordPress, had become the most popular open-source CMS on the Internet, today powering some 810 million websites worldwide, or 40% of the Internet.
About anyone, from the NYT to Neil Patel, uses WordPress for their blog, e-com store, company website, portfolio, and more.
Free, light, great for SEO, easy to use, WordPress is also open-source which means that anyone can copy, contribute to, and tweak it as they wish.
Until they couldn’t.
In September 2024, Mullenweg complained that the WordPress hosting company WP Engine was a cancer to WordPress due to their little contribution to the open-source project and their appropriation of the WordPress brand.
A few days later, WP Engine sent a cease and desist letter to Mullenweg asking him to stop making these comments.
In retaliation, Mullenweg blocked WP Engine from WordPress and their customers could no longer update their website.

Rachel Zegler: "f*** donald trump." Disney's Snow White speaks out.
Wow what kind of Snow White is that?
And why do hollywood stars feel the need to reach out politically against half of their fanbase and destroy their careers?
According to the screenshots, Zegler made the posts during the intermission of her show shortly after Trump's win, writing, "May trump supporters and trump voters and trump himself never know peace."
Rachel Zegler at the "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" photo shoot at Savoy Place in London on March 6, 2023. The actor has criticized Donald Trump and Elon Musk on social media. Dave J. Hogan/Getty Images "I find myself speechless in the midst of this. another four years of hatred, leaning us towards a world i do not want to live in," Zegler wrote.
She continued: "I shouldn't be this shocked. but i am. i am heartbroken for my friends who awoke [in] fear this morning. and i am here with you. to cry, to yell, to hug. to wax poetic on how the left continues to fail us in forging a new path forward. this loss should not have been. and it certainly should not have been by so many votes."
In a follow-up post, Zegler said there was a "deep, deep sickness" in the United States, considering how many people voted for a "man who threatens our democracy."
She added: "It is terrifying the number of people who stand behind what this man preaches. it is a foolish subscription to a false sense of security, of masculinity, of intelligence, of patriotism, and of humanity. there is no help, no counsel, in any of them. i could go on. i won't. i feel sad. you probably do, too. f*** this."
Zegler also encouraged readers to stop using X, the social media platform owned by billionaire Elon Musk. Leading up to the election, the tech mogul campaigned for Trump, and on Wednesday, the president-elect named Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as leaders of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency.
"I don't use that app for a reason. he helped get that man elected and you're giving him business," Zegler wrote. In another post, she said she was going onstage for the second act of Romeo + Juliet and needed to "get off my soapbox before i get too heated."
She concluded the post: "Sending love to everyone who needs it today. may we all carry each other through the worst and hold these politicians accountable. your dem govs just got very important! they already were but hey! follow your governors! hold them accountable. local government is where we will make real change. this is not the end. ever.
"I will love through these four years as best i can. f*** donald trump."
When approached for comment by Newsweek, a spokesperson for Zegler directed us to a post the actor had just made to her Instagram story on Thursday night.
"Hi everyone, I would like to sincerely apologize for the election post I shared on my Instagram last week. I let my emotions get the best of me," she wrote.
"Hatred and anger have caused us to move further and further away from peace and understanding, and I am sorry I contributed to the negative discourse," she said. "This week has been emotional for so many of us, but I firmly believe that everyone has the right to their opinion, even when it differs from my own. I am committed to contributing positively toward a better tomorrow."
