HardRider Turbo Bandit Streetfighter

The Suzuki Bandit 1200 is the ultimate streetfighter for a lot of reasons starting with a rock solid engine that is low compression and ideally suited for a turbo. You do not have to take the engine out on the Bandit to put in a cometic head spacer like on most turbo installs because the Bandit has low compression, while most bikes and particularly newer sport bikes are all high compression and need the spacer. there are a lot of older Bandits around at affodable prices, chop it up a bit, put a turbo on it and presto, a very fast street fighter... 250 rear wheel horsepower :)

This pic shows the bandit before the chop and turbo install and after. Leave a comment or contact us if you have questions. info@hardrider.net HARDRIDER

Quickly Clarified - Ball Bearing vs Journal Bearing Turbos | Pros & Cons

Garrett vs Pulsar Turbos

This video compares a Garrett G42-1200 turbocharger to a Pulsar copy. The presenter uses calipers to measure the dimensions of both turbos, finding very small differences between them. They also test the interchangeability of the compressor and turbine housings, finding that they are largely compatible.
